Questions and answers Q. Is it possible to book additional nights? A. Yes, just let us know how long you want to stay and we will provide you with a quote. Q. Can we book extra activities? A. Yes. Just let us know well in advance what activities you want and we will plan according to your request and revise your quotation. Q. Is it possible to upgrade the accommodation? A. Yes, but obviously this will increase the cost of the package. All up grades and extras are subject to availability. Q. If I need help booking flights can you assist? What airport will I land at? A. Yes, we are in a position to assist you with this but please remember the airlines cancellation and adjustment fees will apply if you wish to change or cancel your flights. We also will apply a cancellation or adjustment fee. A majority of all international flights arrive at Sofia Airport and we arrange your airport transfer to Plovdiv. However, during the winter season, there are a number of chartered flights who fly direct to Plovdiv Airport to enable access to the local Ski Resorts. Q. What type of currency is acceptable in Bulgaria? Can I use credit cards? A. The currency of Bulgaria is the Lev. The Euro is accepted in many hotels and restaurants together with credit cards. However, we advice you use the Lev when ever possible; you can use the many ATM machines in Plovdiv to withdraw cash from your account or change your currency at one of the numerous Bureau de Charge units scattered all over Plovdiv. Please remember Plovdiv is just like any other major city in the world; please be very careful with your money and possessions at all times!! Q. What is the weather like in Plovdiv? A. As many of our clients have already experienced, the summers are extremely hot!!! We are situated in the very south corner of Eastern Europe and enjoy very long, hot, Mediterranean summers. The spring and autumn months are also very warm but the winters can be extremely cold with heavy snow fall.
